Microwave disinfection process description
The technological process of microwave disinfection of medical waste is as follows:
1.The medical waste in the medical waste turnover box is transported to the medical waste disposal center by the medical waste transfer truck, and then discharged to the standard garbage can in the medical waste feeding area;
2.The automatic feeding module automatically sends the medical waste in the standard garbage can into the closed bin; The automatic feeding module and the closed cover of the closed bin are controlled by linkage, and the medical waste automatically enters the multi-function closed crushing module through the closed bin.
3.The multi-function crushing module and the closed bin internal negative pressure suction to prevent the overflow of harmful substances.The multifunctional crushing module breaks and reduces the internal medical waste into small pieces of medical waste (about 5cm in size). Small pieces of medical waste automatically enter the spiral microwave disinfection and sterilization bin through the screen; There is a homogenizing module in the spiral microwave disinfection and sterilization chamber.
3.Small pieces of medical waste are fully stirred and mixed in the spiral microwave disinfection and sterilization chamber. A microwave disinfection treatment unit is set up in the spiral microwave disinfection and sterilization silo to generate electromagnetic waves with corresponding frequency and wavelength.
4.A steam heating system is set next to the microwave disinfection and sterilization bin, and the high-temperature pressure steam is sent into the microwave disinfection and sterilization bin through the steam pipeline. 5.The spiral means that the temperature in the microwave disinfection and sterilization chamber is ≥95ºC, and the disinfection time of medical waste is ≥45 minutes. 4.Temperature Control | Several microwave generators are installed side by side in the microwave disinfection unit along the pipeline. A temperature sensor located between the first and second microwave generators monitors the front-end waste temperature. A temperature sensor, located between the last and the previous microwave generator, monitors the waste temperature at the back end of the microwave disinfection unit, and a temperature detection point is also located between the fourth and fifth microwave generators. If the temperature of these three points cannot reach the set value for a long time, the microwave disinfection unit will enter the fault alarm state. The screw speed was determined by the temperature sensor at the rear end. If the material temperature falls below 95°C, the screw will stop operating. 5.Microwave Generator | The microwave generator generates the microwave energy required for waste disinfection. The microwave generator components are integrated in a stainless steel housing and are bolted to the waveguide. The control line and power line are installed with plug-in connectors, which can be easily plugged in. The microwave generator provides 1500 watts of output power at a frequency of 2450 MHZ. A built-in timer indicates the total running time for the microwave generator to preheat the filament. Most of the equipment is equipped with water-cooled magnetrons, and each is air-cooled magnetrons (air-cooled magnetrons are cooled by radial air cooling located inside the shell of each microwave generator. Therefore, it is important to keep the air inlet and outlet vents clean to ensure sufficient circulating air for cooling.
